Articles
I told you on my About page that I don’t have the academic, medical, or psychological qualifications to write about insomnia. All I have is my thirty years of personal experience living with the disorder, and it’s the only perspective from which I can write about all of my sleepless nights.
I do, however, want to offer my readers the option of reading more about insomnia than just my personal experience. If you’ve done even the slightest research online, then you know there is no shortage of articles and other information about insomnia.
My goal is to provide articles written by people who are qualified as professional sleep researchers. They must have the knowledge acquired from empirical research of their own or from their colleagues, and they must be able to translate it from academic research language into layman’s language so we can understand it.
Essentially, all I’m doing with this page is providing a filter for articles. If you prefer, you can go to sites such as About.com where you’ll find more information about insomnia than can be read in a lifetime.
